BFF Books - Best Friends Forever - doação de livros em língua inglesa à biblioteca da Escola Básica n.º2 de Porto Alto.

Os alunos das turmas 3G 4, 3F 4, 4 H4, 4 I4 e a professora Dulce Silva fizeram uma doação de livros em língua inglesa à biblioteca da Escola Básica n.º 2 de Porto Alto. Tudo começou com a celebração do Valentine's Day. Do espírito de união desta festividade resultou a iniciativa BFF - Books: Best Friends Forever. Os alunos criaram e venderam Friendship Bracelets com palavras como "love", "friendship", "heart", entre outras. Com o dinheiro da venda das pulseiras - foi um sucesso! -, os alunos alcançaram o valor suficiente para adquirir livros em inglês para a nossa biblioteca. Como nos explicaram, na bonita cerimónia de entrega, os alunos praticaram o inglês - the rain in Spain stays mainly in the plain - e apreenderam que a cooperação e a entreajuda são muito importantes e que permitem concretizar qualquer sonho.

So true! A biblioteca está muito agradecida aos alunos por este gesto tão enriquecedor. Muito obrigado! Our heart is full!

The students from classes 3G4, 3F4, 4H4, and 4I4, together with their teacher, Dulce Silva, donated English-language books to the library of Escola Básica n.º 2 de Porto Alto.

It all began with the celebration of Valentine's Day. From the spirit of togetherness inspired by this occasion came the BFF initiative – Books: Best Friends Forever. The students created and sold Friendship Bracelets featuring words such as “love”, “friendship”, “heart”, among others.

With the money raised from the bracelet sales — which was a great success! — the students managed to collect enough to purchase English books for our library. As they explained during the lovely donation ceremony, the students practised their English — “The rain in Spain stays mainly in the plain” — and learned that cooperation and mutual support are extremely important and can help make any dream come true.

So true! The library is deeply grateful to the students for such a meaningful and enriching gesture. Thank you so much! Our heart is full!
